I grew up in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath and feel like I know every street. For a few years from 2015, I led photo tours of the city for tourists, teaching a little photography and advising on the best places to take photos. For example, head for the 2000-year-old Roman Baths on a frosty morning when steam is rising over the water. In the process, I discovered that some of the best photo locations are on the hills surrounding Bath. There was one particular park where I spent several winter mornings looking down on clouds, waiting to catch the exact moment the mist over Bath started to clear.
